Join UsHappy New Year continued to remain steady over the second Saturday. The film collected 7.50 crores approx on its ninth day. With this, the film stands with a collection of 172 crores at the domestic box office.
The film has been running in over 3000 screens but the collections are a little lower compared to it. While it was expected that the film would experience a good jump over the second weekend, Happy New Year is quite low.
With this pace, reaching 200 crores seems difficult for the film. Shah Rukh Khan’s previous release Chennai Express had a much better second weekend in spite of having a screen crunch.
