Grand Masti is performing impressively at the domestic box office. The film with the income of its 2nd day itself has beaten the opening weekend record of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, Shuddh Desi Romance and Special 26, all of whom earned in the range of 23-26 crores in the opening weekend.
Given that Grand Masti has already made 26 crores so far, one can easily expect the film to make a minimum of 7.5 crores over the 1st half of Sunday itself. With that the film will surpass the opening weekend earnings of Shootout at Wadala, Himmatwala and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which are in the range of 30-35 crores.

If the film earns in the same pace as Saturday collections, the film will easily make 13 crores of business in average and has chances of beating Satyagraha at Koimoi’s Top 10 Opening Weekend list. However, given the higher number of screens and the film’s power of attracting single screen audiences too, the film’s income might tread into 15 crores range, in which case it will beat the opening weekend collections of Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobaara as well. Commercially Grand Masti is showing Grand Collections and has signs of emerging as a box office winner of sorts!
