Good Newwz Box Office (Overseas): Audience To Akshay Kumar & The Team Be Like ‘DILJIT Liya’

Good Newwz Box Office: Karan Johar’s latest outing featuring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani is fetching love not only in India but in the overseas market too. After bringing in decent numbers over the weekend, Monday showed a stable momentum at the ticket windows.

During its run over the first weekend, Good Newwz accumulated 24.19 crores in the international circuits, which is the best ever for Akshay Kumar. Now, speaking about day 4 i.e. first Monday, the movie added another 5.56 crores and thus showing a positive trending it is enjoying there. The comic caper now stands at a grand total of 29.75 crores gross in the overseas market ($ 4.17 million).

In the USA and Canada, Good Newwz made $ 1.92 million in first 4 days, while another $ 726k came from UAE and GCC territories. Uk and Australia, New Zealand, Fiji brought in $ 482k and $ 616k respectively.

Directed by Raj Mehta, the movie released on December 27.

Meanwhile, actors Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh took the promotional game to the quirky level by trying the labour pain test to understand what expecting mothers go through during child birth.

Akshay took to Instagram, where he shared a video of himself along with Diljit trying the test. In the video, the two are seen on stretchers with wires attached to a machine and to their stomachs.

As the doctor raises the contraction speed, the actors are seen screaming and going red in pain.
