Backed by an exorbitant price tag, the film is looking forward to a massive start at the Indian box office. Amid sky-high expectations, it has started its advance booking journey on a rocking note and is already a contender to be Thala Ajith’s biggest opener. Let’s take a look at how it is faring on BookMyShow (BMS).
The advance booking for the upcoming Kollywood entertainer began recently. Ever since the pre-sales commenced, Thala fans have been blocking their seats like crazy. On BookMyShow, a good number of shows have been listed and tickets are getting sold like hotcakes. As per the data obtained from the online movie ticket booking app, the magnum opus sold 125K tickets four days before its release.

Though Good Bad Ugly is doing wonders on BMS, it is much behind Thalapathy Vijay‘s Leo. We all know Leo had a massive pre-release, as it marked the reunion of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj. It also benefitted from LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) hype and had the backing of a chartbuster music album.

With a strong buzz on the ground level, Leo sold 276K tickets on BMS four days before release. If calculated, Leo is ahead of Good Bad Ugly by a huge margin of 120.8% or 121% higher ticket sales.
