Gone Girl which released this Friday has had a good start at the India Box Office. The film has collected 2.53 crores nett on the first weekend in spite of having a competition of four other Hollywood releases. Ben Affleck, that starred in the film, has witnessed the biggest opening for his film in India.

It has received immense critical appreciation and the overall positive word of mouth is working in favour. The film collected 55 lacs on Friday, on Saturday it collected 90 lacs and on Sunday it made 1.08 crore. Looking at the current pace, it is expected that the film will remain steady at the India box office.
