Hollywood release this week Godzilla, has done very good business in India at the Box Office on Day 1 i.e. its 1st Friday. The movie was quite clearly the first choice for moviegoers than the Bollywood release The Xpose. Interestingly, Godzilla made more business than The Xpose, what with raking in approx 5 crores nett on its opening day at the India Box Office.

The film did maximum business from the urban centres, in fact, multiplexes to be more specific. The morning shows anyway had witnessed a great occupancy, however, being a summer vacation season, the footfalls in the evening and night shows increased considerably!

Godzilla will definitely show growth in the weekend, considering a positive word of mouth publicity! The movie had good capability to earn even more had there been enough pre-release promotion for the flick! Nevertheless, the word of mouth publicity always work and this time around as well, it seems, it might do wonders.
