Go Goa Gone opened to an average occupancy on Friday (Day 1) at the Domestic Box Office. As per early estimates, the film’s first day business was recorded at 3.75 crores approximately. As expected, the Illuminati venture did an excessively satisfactory business in metropolitan cities, especially Delhi. However, the film faltered considerably in the UP circuit and failed to rake up much there.

Through the weekend, the film’s collections from the multiplexes is estimated to grow better. It is hard to compensate for the lag from the single screens, yet the film’s intrinsic target audience was the urban multiplex cine goers. The movie was declared a laugh riot unanimously by critics, and hence the film’s slow pick up is not deterring and is expected to improve by Sunday.
India fails as a market for films with such Hollywood sensibilities. Not well versed with the idea of Zombies, this venture is an able introduction of the concept in Indian market. The collections are soon expected to soar, and the film will undoubtedly leave by a good impression on the audiences.
