Akshay Kumar starrer Gabbar Is Back is expected to give Bollywood the much-needed push in the business that has been lost in the last quarter. The film being a massy commercial film releasing on a holiday has great chances to emerge as the biggest opener of the year so far. The morning shows have recorded a good occupancy for Gabbar Is Back so far.

Mumbai has opened to a occupancy of 50% which is decently good where as Pune has opened best for the morning shows with an occupancy of 90%. Mass circuits of Delhi, Gurgaon and Lucknow have taken a slow start with a occupancy of 25-30%.

Since this is a holiday release and to top it all it stars Akshay Kumar, the film is epxected to make a record breaking collections over the long weekend.
