Gabbar Is Back On 1st Place At Top 10 Opening Weekend Grosser Of 2015

Akshay Kumar starrer Gabbar Is Back seems to have revived Bollywood’s gloomy phase and finally we have a film that has appealed to the audiences so much so that it enjoyed a bumper weekend. With what 40 crores coming in from the opening weekend, the Akshay Kumar film has now become the highest opening grosser of the year.

Till now, Akshay’s last film Baby was the top scorer with a collection of 35.90 crores on the opening weekend but the record has now been broken by Akki himself. Gabbar Is Back had an advantage since it released on a holiday and since the film is an out an out commercial film, the footfalls have been strong across all circuits.
