Akshay Kumar’s second film of the year, Gabbar Is Back has now hit the screens and after having a smashing opening, the film dropped slightly . Gabbar Is Back collected approximately 11.50 – 12 crores on its first Saturday. It now stands with a total collection of approximately 24.55 crores at the domestic box office.

Considering that the film is completely massy and its vacation time, the film is benefitting from it. Akshay Kumar has a huge fan following and since the film had also created a good pre-release buzz, it has managed to perform good at the multiplexes. Rajasthan, CP-Berar, CI were the strongest circuits. The film has high chances to become the highest opening weekend if it shows a good jump on Sunday.
