Furious 7 has created history at the Box Office in India. After having a humongous opening weekend, on its 1st Monday, the film raked in 7.50 crores nett and on its 1st Tuesday i.e. yesterday it added more 7.20 crores in its kitty. Furious 7‘s 6 Days nett India total now stands at 62.70 crores at the Box Office.
Released in 2600 screens across the country, including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, the film held well in the weekdays too. Furious 7 has broken all time box office records in India. Being the seventh installment of a huge franchise and Paul Walker’s last silver screen appearance, Fast & Furious 7 took an extraordinary opening, thus grossing the highest opening weekend collection for a Hollywood movie in India.
Talking about this cinematic feat, Mr. Sarabjit Singh, GM, Universal Pictures India said, “Fast and Furious is undoubtedly one of the world’s biggest franchises. We expected huge numbers to come from India in the first weekend itself. This is a huge achievement for a Hollywood movie in India.
