Homi Adajania’s quirky comedy Finding Fanny has opened strongly as it collected 5.1 crores on Day 1 i.e. on 1st Friday at the Domestic Box Office. The makers are ecstatic about the opening. The film starring Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia is riding on tremendous word of mouth and rave reviews.

The film even though different in genre and its presentation had gathered much hype thanks to its ensemble cast and a good music. With the critics too being happy with the film, it was expected that Finding Fanny will perform its best in urban circuits especially Mumbai and Delhi. 

It is expected to pick up over the weekends as it may generate a good positive mouth and that could be beneficial to its business. Saturday morning trends show the film is growing in every theatre across the country.
