Hrithik Roshan-led Fighter will be ending its theatrical run very soon as it’s already on the verge of exhaustion. While in isolation, the worldwide box office collection of the magnum opus looks good, it’s quite underwhelming if all other factors are taken into consideration. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the film’s latest collection update and where it stands on the list of Hrithik’s highest-grossers of all time!
Underperforms at ticket windows!
Released on 25th January, the film marked the third collaboration between Hrithik and director Siddharth Anand. Previously, the duo worked together for Bang Bang, War, and both films turned out to be commercially successful. However, this time, the biggie couldn’t achieve a clean success status considering the mammoth cost of production riding on it. Of course, it will earn profits through non-theatrical deals, but theatrically, it underperformed.
Fighter at the worldwide box office
Talking about the latest box office update, Fighter has amassed 212.50 crores net in India, which equals 250.75 crores gross. In the overseas market, the film turned out to be a huge success and did an impressive business of 101 crores gross. Combining both Indian and overseas gross, the worldwide collection stands at 351.75 crores gross.

From here, Fighter will add some dismal numbers to its total until Ajay Devgn-led Shaitaan takes over on 8th March. After that, it’ll be practically out of theatres. The overall global run is expected to close below 353 crores gross. It’ll be interesting to see if the film gets a green signal for its release in UAE. If it releases there, a good chunk of business would get added to the worldwide collection.

Hrithik has 5 films on the list of the highest-grossing films at the worldwide box office (above 200 crores). The list is topped by War, with a collection of over 460 crores gross. Fighter has managed to grab the second spot on the list. Take a look below (collection in gross):

Talking about the positive things, Fighter is the only Indian film in 2024 so far that has entered the 300 crore club worldwide at the box office. In overseas, it’s the only Indian film of 2024 to cross 100 crores gross.
Speaking about only Bollywood, it’s the first and the only film of 2024 to cross 100 crores net and 200 crores net collection.
