Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw Box Office (Overseas): The brawny Dwayne Johnson and the brainy Jason Statham’s F&F spinoff has been roaring at the overseas box office. The movie is predicted to open in double digits in India but North America has a different scenario.
It opened to special previews on Thursday which started from 7 in the evening. Opening to good to very good reviews, the movie has received positive word of mouth. Pumped up with high octane action sequences, the film leaves no stone unturned to satisfy its fans.
It’s aiming a weekend of USD $ 57 million in North America. It’s less than a predicted range of USD $ 60 million but still is massive for the film. The Thursday previews got in USD $ 5.7 million which is in a similar range of John Wick: Chapter 3‘s USD $ 6 millions figure. But it’s surely less than Furious 7’s magnanimous opening weekend of USD $ 147 million.
