Ek Villain had an excellent first week and has stood out with its performance at the domestic box office. With a smashing total of 77 crores at the domestic box office, the film has now managed to climb up to the fourth position in Highest Grossers of 2014 list in just one week.
Starring Shraddha Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles, this film has pulled off a great business for Balaji and has been performing in a similar trend like Salman Khan’s Jai Ho. The film post its first week has surpassed the collections of Gunday which stood at a lifetime collection of 76.55 crores at the domestic box office.
The film is looking good with its current pace and may even be the next to hop on to a century. With a bright second week ahead, Ek Villain could be soon joining the100 crore club.
