Dune: Part Two enjoyed massive pre-release buzz. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the early reviews generated high curiosity among the viewers. With a score of over 97% on RottenTomatoes, it turned out to be one of the highest-rated second installments.

As per the latest box office updates, Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya starrer made an impressive opening at the box office. Dune 2 collected a whopping 3.50 crores net in India, including Thursday previews.

It is to be noted that Jason Momoa led Aquaman 2 had made a box office collection of 3.25 crores net on day 1 in India. There was a lot of negativity around the film due to Amber Heard’s inclusion, which impacted the footfall of the DCEU film.
Albeit, Dune 2 has toppled the opening earnings of Aquaman 2 with a margin of 7.7%. The collections are expected to get better over the ongoing weekend, and that shall set the pace for Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya’s film.
Dune: Part Two Worldwide Collections
As per early projections, Dune: Part Two is expected to make earnings of $170 million during the opening weekend. The film is made on a staggering budget of $190 million. If the sci-fi lives upto the expectations, it is clearly set for a win at the box office.
