Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam started on a low note at the box office today. This was quite predicted by trade experts, firstly due to its genre and secondly the film’s promotional strategy which was done on a minimum scale.

The opening day occupancy stands in the range of 15 to 18%, which is too low. Considering Drishyam is an Ajay Devgn starrer, it should have taken a bigger opening at the box office.

Nevertheless, the film’s occupancy should grow towards the end of the day as the afternoon shows have already started picking up. Drishyam has got 2365 screens in India.
