Sushant Singh Rajput starring Detective Byomkesh Bakshy has made quite a decent business at the Domestic Box Office on its 1st Friday i.e. Day 1. The movie managed to collect 4.20 crores nett in India at the Box Office. Considering its screen count and the tough competition it faced with Hollywood film Furious 7, this Dibakar Banerjee film has done quite a good business.

The movie fared well in West Bengal, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi. As Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is carrying a positive mouth publicity, the film has good chances to pick up in the weekend i.e. today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday). The weekend collections of Detective Byomkesh Bakshy should stand in the range of 15-18 crores easily, if the film shows a good growth in 2 Days!
