Deepika Padukone starrer Piku has once again proved that content is king and hence the film is riding high on positive word of mouth. The film pulled off an amazing opening weekend as it showed a huge jump on Sunday. Piku‘s opening weekend collection is 25.22 crores at the domestic box office.

The film entered the highest opening weekend grossers’ list and now stands on the fourth position. It has surpassed the opening weekend collections of films like Badlapur, Tevar, Ek Paheli Leela and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. Piku has now evicted Anushka Sharma’s NH10 from the highest opening weekend grossers list which stood at the tenth position with a collection of 13.30 crores at the domestic box office.
