Jagga Jasoos Box Office: Released in 2017, the Anurag Basu directorial was the ambitious project of Ranbir Kapoor. Featuring Katrina Kaif in the female lead, the film received applauds for direction, fresh narrative, music and performances. Despite high on merits, the musical comedy bombed at the ticket windows as it lacked mass elements, thus failing in acquiring a universal appeal.

Witnessing multiple reshoots, Jagga Jasoos went over budget which is one of the reasons for its commercial failure. Released on 14th July, the film enjoyed a decent opening of 8.57 crores but wrapped up its theatrical run at 53.38 crores.
