Dabangg 2 Does Good Business on 2nd Tuesday; Thanks to New Year’s Holiday

Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 took full advantage of the holiday on New Year’s first day i.e. 2nd Tuesday, making a business of about 8.20 Crores at the Domestic Box Office. The movie had made 4 Crores on its 2nd Monday and now stands at a domestic box office total of 139.85 Crores. Moreover, the movie has also made over 38 Crores (USD 7 Million) in its 10 Days run at the Overseas Box Office.

With 2nd week total of 32.25 Crores in it’s 5 Days run, Dabangg 2 is now all set to hold one more record of the highest 2nd week total of 2012. Earlier, the record was held by Akshay Kumar starrer Rowdy Rathore.

Wednesday will see a drop in collections but it is doubtful whether the new releases this week, i.e. Table No. 21, Rajdhani Express and Dehraadun Diary will hamper the box office journey of Dabangg 2.
