Join UsAfter making a huge impact on its opening day at the domestic box office, Dabangg 2 did some great numbers even on its 2nd Day. The opening day exacts were 21.10 Crores. Come Day 2 and the movie made another 17.5 Crores approx, as per early estimates. The 2 day total of Salman’s Dabangg 2 now stands at 38.6 Crores.
The movie, starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, opened across 2,500 screens Friday against 1,800 for the previous one (Dabangg).
Making about 7.30 Crores at the overseas box office, the movie has created some huge hype outside India as well. It seems Dabangg 2 is in for a roll. The slight drop in collections were coz of drop in single screen collections.
Needless to say, it was expected as the Day 1 numbers were huge. There was no major change in multiplex collections as compared to its opening day. Sunday is expected to show a good spike. All said and done Dabangg 2 is sure to have a great 1st weekend at the domestic box office.
The movie will surely reach the 100 crores club but how fast is yet to be seen. Ek Tha Tiger reached the 100 crore club in 6 days, Bodyguard in 8 days and Dabangg part 1 in 10 days. When do you think Dabangg 2 will achieve this mark? Comment and Poll right here.
