After opening at 10.28 crores on Friday, a partial holiday, Crew has done well to cross the 40 crores mark in 5 days. That’s an average of 8 crores per day, which is good as it reflects stability. The total of the film currently stands at 40.90 crores*, and the first week will close around the 48 crores mark, which would mean an average of around 7 crores per day.
The film collected 3.85 crores* on Tuesday, which is a bit of a drop from Monday’s numbers of 4.52 crores. Had the numbers actually been around the 4.25 crores mark then that would have been even better since the Monday drop had anyways come post the weekend. That said, the film didn’t go down either and stayed reasonably stable. Now, hopefully, there won’t be any further drops today and tomorrow, and the film will stay around the 3.25 crores mark at least on Thursday.
All eyes are on the second weekend for the film, actually, because it ends up growing on Saturday in the same way as the likes of Shaitaan and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya did, then it would be game on. The former, in particular, used to have quite good jumps on Saturdays, and it would be this kind of trend that will take this Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon starrer places.
