It’s been a while since Bollywood has witnessed some magic on the theatre screens from a female-led film. There were high expectations from this Rajesh A. Krishnan directorial, and so far it is living up to the expectations.

The film enjoyed a partial holiday due to Good Friday on its opening day. Trade analysts predicted an opening of 7-8 crores. But Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon starrer surprised us with its excellent box office performance.

On day 1, Crew brought in box office collections of a whopping 10.65 crores. The double-digit score was far from expectation, but spot bookings played the magic and how!
As per the latest updates flowing in, Crew has added collections in the range of 10-11 crores to its kitty on day 2. This is a considerable jump despite the fact that today was a working Saturday.

The overall collections after two days will now land somewhere between 20.65-21.65 crores.
It is to be noted that there are multiple other options in the ticket windows. Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan continues its strong run, while Article 370 is receiving a lot of positive reviews. There is also Madgaon Express and Swatantra Veer Savarkar, but as they say, nothing can spot a good film from rising and shining at the box office.
It will be now exciting to see where the Sunday collections land. If the film manages another double-digit tomorrow, it’ll be a step closer to the 50 crore mark. After that, the weekdays will start, and the dip is inevitable.
Crew also stars comedian Kapil Sharma and Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh in a pivotal role. Rajesh Sharma and Saswata Chatterjee will also be seen in supporting roles.
Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit have joined hands to produce the film under their banners, Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network.
Crew was released in theatres on March 29, 2024.
