Citylights : 3rd Week Box Office Collections

Citylights added a minimal moolah in its third week. The collections were in the range of 16 lacs. With this, the film stands with a collection of 8.20 crores at the domestic box office. Starring Rajkumar Rao and Patralekha in lead roles, the film has been highly critically acclaimed.

Coming from the National award winning film director Hansal Mehta, the film was lauded for its intriguing storyline and honest performances. Even though the film was based on a different storyline, it could not cash in as it lacked luster on the commercial cinema front. Also the film’s pre-release buzz was not enough to elevate the film on box office.

Already in its third week, Citylights may be settling for a lifetime collection of around 9 crores. Catering more to the creme de le creme section of the audiences, the film fared moderately well all through.
