Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor led Chhichhore is refusing to slow down at the box office and consistently adding decent numbers to the total. Yesterday, the movie entered into the list of Koimoi’s Most Profitable Films Of 2019 and today it has surpassed one movie each of Akshay Kumar and John Abraham.
Till now, Chhichhore has earned 127.73 crores, thus yielding an ROI (Returns On Investment) of 65.73 crores, considering its budget of 62 crores. With such collections, it has made a profit of 106.01% and surpassed John Abraham Batla House (102.08%) and Akshay Kumar’s Kesari (104%).

Chhichhore will soon beat Saaho’s returns of 112.14% but it will be interesting to see if it manages to overtake Article 15’s 152.20% in the list.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Chhichhore released on 6th September 2019. The story follows a group of college friends who go through the good and the bad times of college and life after it.
During a media interaction, director Nitesh Tiwari opened up on the audiences’ response to the movie. “We are really happy with the audience love to the film and that’s enough for us. I don’t think much about money because there will be times when your film will work at the box-office and there will be times when your film will not work at the box-office. So, we just want the audience’s love and support for this film for a longer period,” said Tiwari.
