Chennai Express, which has made uncountable records in a matter of 2 weeks both at the Domestic as well as the overseas front, has made yet another bombastic record. After setting a some new benchmarks for Bollywood, this Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer has finally entered the 200 crore box office club, post its completion of 2 week’s run at the Domestic Box Office.
As per early estimates, Chennai Express made a business in the range of 3.50-3.60 crores on its 2nd Thursday; beating Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger‘s lifetime collections of 198 crores at the Domestic Box Office. With approx 200.25-200.35 crores domestic total (2 Weeks) of the film, Chennai Express hasn’t surpassed Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots yet, however, has set a new record of ‘Fastest Entrant in the ‘200 crore club‘!
