Chennai Express Picks Up | 1st Wednesday Box Office Collections

Chennai Express saw an upward growth in its figures on its 1st Wednesday. The film’s collections that dropped on Tuesday grew considerably yesterday. The film rakes up 12.55 crores and with that the total collections of the film has now summed up to 137 crores at the domestic box office.

Going down well with the single screens as well as multiplex audiences, the film will clash with Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbaai Dobaara at box office this Friday. However, the word of mouth for the Akshay Kumar starrer isn’t overwhelmingly positive and hence there is only a mild chance that the film can topple over Chennai Express in the weekend. However, final trade reports of OUATIMD’s occupancy is yet to come and hence the box office picture is still unclear!
