Join UsDavid Dhawan’s laugh riot Chashme Baddoor, that released today, has opened to a good occupancy across the country in the morning shows. The movie had an average opening of about 35-40% in Delhi, UP and other North India circuits, while couple of cities in Maharashtra reported low openings.
Nevertheless, the overall opening response at the Box Office is pretty good, despite being a ‘no-big star’ film. If the film picks up in the evening and night shows, Chashme Baddoor might come out with flying colours with a good opening day collections in its kitty.
The film has garnered good reviews from the critics, plus the word of mouth is also positive. The promos and quirky dialogues had already created good buzz among the cine-goers. However, the only hurdle that may affect the film’s progress at the Box Office is the ongoing IPL season.
But, nothing can be completely predicted as of now. Let’s wait and watch!
