Box Office: With Avengers: Endgame, Joker & Others, 2019 Had 9 Out Of Top 10 Films Crossing The $1 Billion Mark!

The year of 2019 was indeed an amazing one for Bollywood, and globally too, we witnessed some huge grossers. While 2019 is mostly remembered for Avengers: Endgame and the box office destruction caused by it, the calendar year had even achieved an amazing ‘$1 Billion‘ feat.

Here the feat which we are talking about is regarding the worldwide box office collection. If we arrange the top 10 highest grossers of the last year, you’ll be amazed to see that out of the top 10 films, 9 films had garnered a whopping sum of $1 billion-plus. Astonishing, isn’t it?

4) Spider-Man: Far from Home

The Tom Holland starrer is in the fourth position. It had made $1.13 billion at the global box office.

5) Captain Marvel

This Brie Larson starrer had started the year on a bang. It had made $1.12 billion globally.

6) Joker

The film needs no introduction to the critical front. Commercially too, Joaquin Phoenix’s performance spilt magic. It had made $1.0742 billion‘s earning at the box office.

7) Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

JJ Abrams directorial holds the seventh spot. The film had garnered a sum of $1.0741 billion.

8) Toy Story 4

Another Walt Disney’s film on the list! It had a run of $1.073 billion at the box office.

9) Aladdin

Starring Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott and Will Smith, the film did a business of $1.05 billion.

10) Jumanji: The Next Level

This Dwayne Johnson’s film closes the list and is the only one to miss the $1 billion mark. It did a business of $796 million.
