Box Office: Before its release, not many were giving much of a chance to Aditya Roy Kapoor, Disha Patani, Kunal Kemmu and Anil Kapoor starrer Malang. It was expected to be a film that would fold up in 30-40 crores range. However, it has managed to do much better than that, what with 56.60 crores* already coming in. The film exceeded expectations on its opening and post that has managed some sort of sustenance. Not that it has turned into a solid hit or something but the fact that it has managed an average verdict for itself is good enough as well.
On Sunday, the film collected 1.30 crores* and the fact that the 1 crore mark has been breached even on the 17th day of its running is fair indeed. It is expected that 1.50-2 crores more would come in for the Mohit Suri directed film during the weekdays.

The same is expected from Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior as well. Yet again on Sunday it further came on its own with 1.10 crores been added to its total. This is a film which is in its seventh week running and on the coming Friday it would complete 50 days at the box office. There are only a handful of films that manage such a feat and here the Om Raut directed affair is still attracting footfalls. The film’s collections now stand at 276.90 crores and with another week ahead of it before Baaghi 3 arrives, it could well achieve 280 crores finally.
