Box Office Updates: Dream Girl Is Unstoppable, Chhichhore Towers Above The 150 Crore Mark

When on one side, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War is dominating the box office, it’s the former champions Chhichhore and Dream Girl who are also making their presence felt. Both the movies opened to mind-blowing reviews and the trend has proved how well the word of mouth it received. Both are on their 5th and 4th weekend respectively at the box office.

Chhichhore has crossed the 150 crore mark in 31 days & it’s an achievement to be proud of. Not just it has crossed the 150 crore mark, but also it maintained its stand despite Dream Girl’s success and War’s mayhem.

Chhichhore has collected 1.53 crores in its 5th weekend and now stands at the grand total of 150.36 crores. Led by Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma, and Shraddha Kapoor, the emotions connect of the film along with the humour helped it to mark a place for itself amongst the audiences.

Talking about Dream Girl, Ayushmann Khurrana’s box-office-hit spree continues with it. By collecting 2.40 crores in its 4th weekend, total lifetime collections of the movie till date are 135.25 crores. The brand of ‘Ayushmann’ cinema has started to boost now. He already planted the seeds of his trust among the audience, and all of this is just a result of the same.

Chhichhore, which also stars Naveen Polishetty, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Tushar Pandey, Saharsh Kumar Shukla, and Prateik Babbar revolves around a group of college friends who go through the good and the bad times of college and life after it. On the other hand, directed by Raaj Shandilyaa, Dream Girl narrates a love story with a quirky twist. Ayushmann plays the role of a guy with the talent of impersonating a woman’s voice. The film captures all the conflicts that come with the situation in a witty way.
