All of this means that the film is set to take an opening of around 60%-70% with high end multiplexes collecting even better on Day One. Even though the film has an adult theme, it hasn’t dampened enthusiasm amongst exhibitors who are expecting good footfalls from the very first show. The starcast comprising of Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor has generated good interest too and constant intrigue around the real villain has meant that the film has peaked at just the right time.

By the look of things, Ek Villain is all set to be the highest opening film ever for Mohit Suri and it won’t be surprising if it achieves first day of over 10 crore.
