Box Office Morning Occupancy – X-Men: Apocalypse Takes A Better Opening Than Sarbjit

With X-Men: Apocalypse releasing this Friday, another Hollywood flick has affected the new Bollywood release Sarbjit. X-Men: Apocalypse has opened just below average but still managed to open better than Sarbjit.

Sarbjit has opened around 15% which is quite low considering the buzz around it. It was expected that the film will open well in places like Punjab and Delhi, but it under-performed in these regions.

On the other hand X-Men: Apocalypse has opened with around 45% occupancy across the country. Sarbjit needs to pick up in the evening and night shows to stand with a decent collection on day 1.

It would be important for Sarbjit to show substantial growth over the weekend to get a good box office collection.
