Madgaon Express Box Office Collection Day 14: Crosses 20 Crores After 2 Weeks

Madgaon Express had the potential to earn more money at the Box Office. It deserved to earn a lifetime of 30-40 crores at least.

After being in theatres for two weeks, Madgaon Express has now scored 20.31 crores at the box office. The film did show some fights in the first week and then in the second weekend as well, with collections staying above the 1 crore mark right through. However, from Monday onwards, the collections did get into lakhs for the first time, and then that stayed like that right through till Thursday.

This one is actually a funny entertainer, and as mentioned earlier too, given the merits, it deserved to get a lifetime of 30-40 crores at least. Even with the power of just multiplex audiences, Madgaon Express could have actually managed to cover this kind of distance. However, the need of the hour was that these gradual footfalls generated the kind of quick-fire word of mouth that would have resulted in even bigger footfalls, which would have actually helped the film cover even greater distances.

The good part is that there is no one out there who has panned this Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi and Avinash Tiwary film. The feedback has ranged from decent to riotous, and rest assured this is what will ensure that eyeballs would be really impressive once the film will arrive on OTT.
