Dilwale had a decent second Friday at the Box Office. The film brought in 8.11 crore more and now its collections stand at 110.76 crore. If one looks at a normal trending for a biggie, this isn’t really bad as the first Friday was 21 crore. However, for the Rohit Shetty film to rake in huge numbers from a lifetime total perspective, it was pretty much the need of the hour for it to gain from the Christmas holiday.

All verdicts so far had been kept on hold since it was expected that the big Christmas holiday would give a push to the film’s collections and it would bring in at least 13-14 crore on its second Friday. However, the fact remains that the count of screens has decreased for the film and while Bajirao Mastani is turning out to be a good choice for people with word of mouth setting in, there is some (if not much) dent coming in from Star Wars: The Force Awakens as well, at least at premium multiplexes.

There is still Saturday and Sunday to go and while good numbers are expected on these days, Shahrukh Khan and Co. would be aiming for a much greater push now to sprint towards that 150 crore mark.
