Box Office: Baaghi Scores Quite Well On 1st Monday

Sajid Nadiadwala produced Baaghi is continuing to roar. The film is doing great guns as it consolidated further on Monday. With the kind of high collections that it enjoyed on Friday [11.94 crore], anything around 5.5 crore on Monday would have been good. However, with around 6.72 crore coming in, the film has now scored 45.30 crore already.

This means that the Sabbir Khan directed film has now gone past the lifetime total of Wazir [41 crore] and Ghayal Once Again [40 crore] in 4 days flat. That is astonishing because both these films were much bigger in scale, size and cast. In fact if not today, then at maximum by tomorrow the film would also go past the lifetime collections of Ki And Ka [51 crore]. That’s just superb!

For Sajid Nadiadwala and his production company Nadiadwala Grandson, it is a fantastic beginning to their 2016 campaign. While Baaghi is on way to become a successful venture, the next biggie in line is Housefull 3 which is expected to see a huge opening too. Moreover, there is Dishoom lined up next followed by Rangoon at the end of year. With each of these four films boasting of good pitching, set up and release, one waits to see the huge numbers that Sajid manages to score before end of 2016.
