Box Office: Azhar Picks Up Further On Saturday

Azhar has shown further improvement on Saturday. The film netted 7 crore on its second day and as a result, the collections now stand at 13.30 crore.

The film is doing much better than Emraan’s last release Hamari Adhuri Kahani and now it all boils down to an all-important Sunday for it to step into the weekdays with certain level of comfort. For that, multiplexes need to show added momentum in footfalls and the kind of subject that Azhar boasts of as well as the narrative style adopted by Tony D’Souza, there is a good possibility of that happening.

Weekend collections of last few Emraan starrers are as below, and it is now a given that Azhar would top the list:

Ek Thi Daayan – 18 crore
Raja Natwarlal – 17.6 crore
Hamari Adhuri Kahani – 16.5 crore
Mr. X – 14.2 crore
