Rokkk may not have worked wonders at the ticket windows but its only ‘saving grace’ was that it was made on a shoestring budget. For its cost, the Udita Goswami and Tanushree Dutta horror drama did not end up scaring the daylights out of the makers.

Abhay Deol must have lost a section of his fans after Road, Movie. For even his staunchest supporters, who appreciate his love for different cinema, weren’t prepared for cinema that was so different. Nobody understood why the film was made. Maybe, Dev Benegal may now make a sequel to Road, Movie just to explain why he made the film. A total loss!

All the swear words in the film couldn’t save Thanks Maa from sinking at the box-office. The maiden attempt of Irfan Kamal, son of dance master Kamal, opened to dismal houses and just didn’t pick up.
Meanwhile, previous week’s Karthik Calling Karthik, which had begun to slide downwards in the first week itself, went further downhill in its second week. As for Teen Patti, it is breathing its last. While Teen Patti would lose 80% of its investment, Karthik would end up with a 30% loss.
