Chillar Party is on its way out. The tax-exemption in Maharashtra did not help much as the third week’s takings aren’t really too impressive. Outside of Maharashtra, of course, it is hardly yielding shares.
Delhi Belly (Hinglish & Hindi dubbed) would’ve also been out of the cinemas had it not been for absence of major releases. Since there is no big new release next week also, the ensemble cast film just might get a breather in its 5th and 6th weeks too.
Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap has had to bid farewell after 4 weeks, to most of the cinemas in spite of the audience’s appreciation of Amitabh Bachchan’s performance in it. Goes to show that just a great performance cannot make a film work at the turnstiles.
