Bombay Velvet has already proven to be a disaster at the box office. The film has made it to the 20 crore mark after struggling for the first six days. It collected approximately 1.30 crores on its sixth day, thus taking its total to 21 crores at the domestic box office.

Bombay Velvet is proving to be the biggest dud of the year. The film was made on a budget over 100 crores and hence the losses are going to be huge. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer is expected to drop even more over the second weekend as Tanu Weds Manu Returns releases this week with a huge screen count.
