Bobby Jasoos: Disappointing Business On Day 1 (1st Friday) At The Box Office

Bobby Jasoos opened with a disappointing Box Office collections. The film on its first Friday i.e. Day 1 collected 1.75 crores at the domestic box office. After having a low occupancy in the morning shows, the film did not pick up much in the evening and night too.

Starring Vidya Balan in the lead role, the film had received average critics ratings and thus couldn’t pull audiences on first day. Nevertheless, a strong mouth publicity can change the film’s box office fate!

Also another reason for a poor first day for this film was the previous week’s release Ek Villain which not only has a better screen count but is also currently on a good stride at the box office.

Bobby Jasoos suffered mainly due to a low buzz around the film. The ongoing Ramadan, might even be one of the reason for the film to fare poorly in the evening shows.

A decent word of mouth publicity will only help the film to pick up on Saturday and Sunday and ultimately make a decent opening weekend total.
