Bhootnath Returns Box Office: The sequel to 2008’s success Bhootnath was a much better upgrade with a fresh new touch of some social issues. Featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Parth Bhalerao in lead roles, the film also had Boman Irani as an antagonist. The film was an average affair at the box office.

Nitesh Tiwari handled the direction department for Bhootnath Returns and received praises for his work. Also, the film was lauded for touching issues like corruption and election system of India. However, despite being a good package, the film didn’t do much on the commercial front. It took a fair start of 4.07 crores and ended up the lifetime at 39 crores.
