Bhoothnath Returns had a decent first Tuesday. The film experienced a slight drop since Monday. It collected 3 crores on its fifth day. With that, the film now stands with a total collection of 24 crores at the domestic box office.

If Bhoothnath Returns continues to show a steady growth over the week, it may surpass the collections of Dedh Ishqiya and acquire a position on the highest grossers’ list of 2014. The Amitabh Bachchan starrer has so far received a positive word of mouth and thus can expect a decent response over the week. The only glitch for this film will be the onset of IPL. After the prequel, Bhootnath was a successful venture, this second focussing a mature audience has found takers in the multiplexes.The film could definitely gather a decent amount of moolah over the week considering there are no other releases from the previous week until this Friday.
