The final numbers for Bhoot Returns opening day box office collections were 1.40 Crores. The movie showed no growth on Day 2. In fact it went the downward trend. As per early estimates Bhoot Returns made about 1.25 Crores on its second day at the domestic box office.
Ram Gopal Varma has sure landed into yet another flop. The movie seems to have been doing better in single screens as compared to multiplexes which proves that 3D is not the only thing to ensure footfall in the latter. However, the numbers are not what the makers would expect.
Negative reviews and word of mouth has only made it worse for the flick to grow any further. It is quite obvious that the RGV flick will have no chance on the box office post Sunday. It’s a pity that Manisha Koirala could not make her comeback venture count.
The movie will do a maximum business of 4.5-5 Crores on its 1st weekend. There is no way that the flick will make more than 12-13 Crores in its lifetime at the domestic box office.
