John Abraham’s latest release, Batla House, may be facing a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal but is giving a tough competition as well as managing to attract its target audience to the ticket windows! The movie till its day 3 has made collections of 35.29 crores in its kitty and here’s what the early trends are suggesting about its day 4 collections.
The weekend began well for the movie as it saw a rise in its box office graph earning 10.90 crores on Saturday. Now, as per the early trends flowing in, Batla House further rose and raked in numbers in the range of 11-13 crores. This brings the overall collections to 46.29-48.29 crores. While the movie is almost at the edge of the 50 crore mark, the pace in this weekend would highly decide the fate for this Nikkhil Advani directorial.
Batla House actor John Abraham says the worst criticism he has faced since the time he entered Bollywood is that he doesn’t “deserve to be in this industry”.

“‘I don’t deserve to be in this industry’ is the worst piece of criticism I’ve ever received. I got that from Day One. It’s been about 17 years since then. Most people who said that are now married with children, half of them have retired, some have left their jobs. I am still here,” John said.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, “Batla House” is inspired by the alleged police encounter in Delhi in the wake of the 2008 serial blasts. John essays the character of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who spearheaded the operation.
