Batla House Box Office Day 15: Emerges John Abraham’s Biggest Solo Grosser!

In just 15 days, Batla House has emerged as John Abraham’s biggest solo grosser. The film has managed to go past the lifetime numbers of Satyameva Jayate and currently stands at 91.76 crores. Staying strong ever since its release, the Nikkhil Advani directed dramatic thriller has found steady audience going for it and that was evidenced on Thursday as well when 1.72 crores came in.

John Abraham has of course seen bigger grossers in Race 2 and Housefull 2 as well, which were multi-starrer affairs. However, of late he has come on his own with films like Batla House, Satyameva Jayate and Parmanu – The Story of Pokharan giving him good credibility as an actor, as well as commercial returns too. Now all eyes are on his next set of releases, Pagalpanti, Attack and Satyameva Jayate 2 which should keep the box office churning for next 12 odd months.

As for the industry, it has benefited too from the good success that Batla House has turned out to be. The film is a solid hit and it could well manage to stretch its way to the 100 Crore Club.
