Bang Bang as expected opened with a bang at the box office today. The film was already showing a good advance booking in metros and north circuits. And in spite of not being a solo release, this Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif starrer has opened excellently.

It has had a massive release in over 3700 screens in Hindi, with 120 screens in Tamil and 200 screens in Telugu. And thus trade pandits are expecting a whopping opening day collection from the film although it might be difficult to match the highest record set by Dhoom 3.

The morning shows occupancy is over 90% which is excellent. The pre-release buzz for the film has been tremendous and with a smashing start for the morning shows, the film is definitely going to soar by late evening. Also, since it is a National Holiday, the occupancy will increase as the day progresses.

The movie has witnessed almost houseful shows in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Mysore, Jaipur, Delhi etc. Even if the other release Haider performs well, it will not be affecting the business of Bang Bang considering this film has ample screen count. Moreover, due to their distinctive nature the audiences will not be going through a clash of choice.
