After remaining decently steady over the first Monday, Badlapur dropped slightly on its fifth day. The film collected 3.80 crores on Tuesday, thus taking its total to 32 crores at the domestic box office. The drop is quite normal for a week day.
Considering that the film was meant for a niche audience, it is performing its best in the urban centers such as Mumbai, Pune whereas the mass circuits are average.

Compared to other 2015 releases such as Shamitabh and Tevar, Badlpur has shown good collections and may even recover its costs.
