The film collected 59.72 crores in 7 days and emerged as the 3rd highest opening week grosser of 2016 behind Fan and Airlift.
Baaghi has beaten the opening week collections of films like Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja, Alia Bhatt’s Kapoor And Sons and Arjun Kapoor starrer Ki And Ka.
Baaghi has been directed by Sabbir Khan and features Sudheer Babu and Sunil Grover in key roles. The film’s action romance genre helped it soar ahead. Also, a popular music and sizeable fanbase of both the lead stars was beneficial.
